Our SKOTTI gas is optimally designed for use with the SKOTTI: The propane-butane gas mixture in our SKOTTI screw-in cartridge is a mix of 70% butane and 30% propane and can be used whenever the outside temperature is above 15°C. If you grill in cooler temperatures, we recommend using special winter gas.

Which gas can I use for my SKOTTI grill?

The SKOTTI grill runs on gas cartridges that comply with the EN 417 standard. These are widely available and available at outdoor, camping, and hardware stores.

How long does a gas cartridge last when grilling?

A 500g gas cartridge is sufficient for approximately 2-3 hours of grilling time, depending on the heat setting.

Can I use SKOTTI Gas in cold temperatures?

Our propane-butane gas blend ensures reliable performance at outside temperatures above 15°C. For temperatures below 15°C, we recommend our winter gas.

Is SKOTTI gas environmentally friendly?

Our gas cartridges are recyclable. Once completely empty, you can dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way at a metal recycling center.
